Scholarship Application

  • The Jackson Commercial Contractors Association (JCCA) is pleased to announce that we will award several merit based scholarships between $1,000 – $2,000 at our April 9, 2025 JCCA Membership meeting from 5:30 – 7:00 pm at the Cascades Manor. The scholarships will be awarded to high school seniors, graduating this year, who have a sincere interest in a construction-related career.
  • Scholarship Qualification Requirements include:
    • Senior graduating in 2025 from a Jackson County High School
    • Student must be enrolling in a 2 or 4 year College or University, a recognized trade school, a formal training program conducted by a construction industry trade organization or an apprenticeship program.
    To apply for the scholarship, you need to:
    • Complete the attached application
    • A Letter of Recommendation from a teacher, counselor, or supervisor from a construction related job.
    Applications must be submitted by March 21, 2025

  • from a high school teacher or counselor. It should cover character, personality, industry and general worthiness of the scholarship applicant.

  • The scholarship check will be made payable to the scholarship recipient and/or the educational facility or program designated by the applicant.

    Scholarship recipients will be determined by the Scholarship Committee based on the application questions, letter of recommendation and the recommendation of the faculty of the Construction Trades programs at the Jackson Area Career Center.
  • A basic purpose of the Jackson Commercial Contractors Association (JCCA) is to educate local youth about the many fulfilling and rewarding careers available in the Construction Trades. The construction industry is a key player in the health of our community. By promoting new employees in the industry, we are helping to support the prosperity and growth of the community and helping to insure the continued availability and excellence of dedicated local contractors.
